L&S Advising hours

Our drop-in advising hours are from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. (Wednesday 1 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.). Scheduled appointments are available 2-4 p.m. You can either call us at (510) 642-1483 or come to 113 Campbell Hall to make your appointment. Office hours are weekdays 9 a.m. - 4 p.m., (Wednesday 1 p.m - 4 p.m.)

Finding Your Way

Finding Your Way (FYW) is a comprehensive program of information and advising for new students in the College of Letters and Science. Our goal is to familiarize you with the measures you can take to succeed in articulating and fulfilling your academic goals.

If you are a Freshman, please continue to FYW for freshmen.

If you are a Transfer student, please visit FYW for transfers.

Having trouble choosing a major? Try the Career Counseling Library in the Tang Center. They have tests and counselors to help you determine where your strengths are.
