Scholarships

There are many scholarships available to help you pay for independent research or fund your undergraduate education. Sometimes an interest and commitment to a field of knowledge with decent grades is enough to secure funding. Scholarships can enrich the academic experience at Cal, as they can fund special research and travel.

Scholarship Connection

Scholarship Connection is UC Berkeley's clearinghouse for information on scholarships that are funded by sources outside the University. You may search for scholarships on Scholarship Connection's online database. In addition to providing information on many externally-funded scholarships, Scholarship Connection also administers the application process for several highly competitive and prestigious scholarships.

If you're interested in the Psychology major, you can apply for the major in the summer. The application deadline is July 30. We like our transfers to apply during the summer, provided you have already finished or will concurrently be enrolled in your last prereqs during the summer. This way we can get you into the system as Psych majors well before Tele-BEARS starts for the spring.
