At the beginning of the semester I was working thirty hours a week at two jobs. That was fine at first. It was simple at the time to forego reading assignments in favor of my jobs, but problems started to occur around midterms. I had a thirty-one hour work week, a midterm that was worth twenty-five percent of my grade, and a monologue for my theatre class, all due that same week. I panicked. Luckily, I managed to come out unscathed, but the experience helped me realize that I had to prioritize. I quit one of the jobs.
